The first treatment

After we have greeted each other and you have arrived, we begin with a so-called anamnesis. You tell me what ailments you have and how they limit you. We go through your medical history in a detailed and structured manner and define a treatment goal as well as small intermediate steps. These are derived from your own goals and wishes and should do justice to your personal life situation. I see myself as a guide and supporter.

After that, I will examine you thoroughly and make a physiotherapy diagnosis. This relates to your functional dysfunction, your illness and, if you are suffering from pain, your pain. I will explain these findings to you in an understandable way, give you an honest prognosis with regard to the defined goals and, if necessary, I will teach you small exercises for at home at our first meeting.

Home exercises should support your therapy and give you relief and a sense of achievement in everyday life.

Assumption of costs

  • Private patients

  • Statutory health insurance patients with additional insurance for alternative medicine

  • Self-payers

I am a naturopath for physiotherapy. Since 2009, physiotherapists have been allowed to treat and bill patients directly without a doctor's prescription after acquiring the sectoral alternative practitioner for the field of physiotherapy (Hp-Pt), provided that treatment is felt to be indicated. For you, this means a thorough examination to determine whether we can work on your structural and functional problems straight away, or whether further medical clarification is necessary.

If no so-called red flags, i.e. symptoms that require medical clarification, are found, we will start immediately on your individual and holistic path to health.

My bill is based on the fee schedule for Heilpraktik-GebüH. It is best to contact your private insurance or supplementary insurance before treatment in order to clarify the individual cost coverage

If you have any questions about the alternative practitioner for physiotherapy or the assumption of costs, I would be happy to advise you personally.

I look forward to seeing you!

  • Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist (OMPT) according to IFOMPT standard

OMPT is the highest international standard of manual therapy, according to the criteria of the World Physiotherapy Association (WCPT) and its subgroup IFOMPT (International Federation of Orthopedic Manipulative Physiotherapy.

Manual therapy specifically treats diseases and functional disorders of the entire body; including joints and their surrounding muscles and nerves.

Orthopedic Manual Therapy (OMPT) builds on the manual therapeutic knowledge that we physiotherapists acquire in training to become manual therapists. The training to become an OMPT is much more extensive (more than 1000 hours of training) and more profound and strictly scientifically based. At the same time, it is based on a holistic view of man, ie it includes social, psychological and biological aspects in treatment planning. ,

Since 2009 it has been possible to obtain the qualification of the Sectoral Alternative Practitioner for Physiotherapy HP-PT after a special further education.

This empowers the therapist to practice physiotherapy independently, within the scope of the area of responsibility of the certified physiotherapist and his expertise, without the doctor's instructions.

The sectoral alternative practitioner for physiotherapy only uses proven physiotherapeutic methods.

This has the following advantages for you:

  • You do not need a doctor's prescription and you avoid a long wait for a doctor's appointment.

  • Diagnosis and therapy are carried out by the same therapist

  • Freedom in the choice of therapy and combination of suitable procedures

Good cooperation with your attending doctor is important to me.

Therefore, a detailed anamnesis (initial consultation) and examination (inspection) is carried out first to determine whether my therapeutic options are suitable for you.

After the therapy you will receive an invoice (based on the fee schedule for alternative practitioners (GebüH)). You can claim this from your private insurance or from a private supplementary insurance for alternative practitioner benefits.

With regard to individual reimbursement of costs, please contact your supplementary insurance company or your private health insurance company before the start of treatment.

Do you have any questions about alternative practitioners for physiotherapy? Get in touch with me. I would be happy to advise you.
